Angle of load - The small angle between horizontal and the leg of the rigging, also known
as the horizontal angle.
Bridle Sling - A sling composed of more than one wire rope legs and a fitting that
connects to the lifting hook.
Cable-laid wire rope - A wire rope composed of several independent wire ropes laid
around a fiber or wire rope core.
Choker Sling, wire rope with eyes spliced on each end, which is used to life the load.
