cycle
of
attachment,
power
stroke,
detachment,
and
recovery
repeats
numerous
times
during
a
muscle
contraction.
Each
cycle
pulls
the
actin
filaments
slightly
further
over
the
myosin
filaments,
which
shortens
the
entire
length

the
sarcomere
and
thus
the
muscle
fiber.

:
runs

parallel

and

the
