her family are the first patients for the day.
Tonya has brought her three children in for a checkup. Mike is six years
old and is in elementary school, Dana is three, and Trey is nine months.
You complete an anthropometric and clinical assessment on each child.
1. a. Explain what each of these would include: (2 points)

b. Clinical (2 points)
c. To determine if each child is growing appropriately, name one
tool that you can use to compare the child with standard growth.

A- Anthropometric means the assessment of the body composition,
therefore I will be checking Mike and Dana's weight and height. Trey's
head circumference , weight, and length.
B- Clinical is a physical exam that determines if there is any health
concern by examining the eyes, teeth, skin, hair, coordination, and
blood pressure.
C- An infant child growth table can be used to track the growth by
measuring their length (height) and weight by comparison with the
standard growth chart.
