- Acute cardiogenic pulmonary oedema
- Autonomic dysreflexia (with systolic BP >= 160mmHg)
- Irukandji syndrome (with systolic BP >= 160mmHg)
GTN Contraindications - Answer - Allergy and/or adverse drug reaction;
- HR <50 or >150 bpm;
- SBP < 100 mg;
- Acute CVA;
- Head Trauma;
- Erectile Dysfunction medication in the previous
24 hrs (sildenafil or vardenafil in last 24 hrs, tadalafil in the last 48 hrs).
GTN Precautions - Answer - Suspected inferior AMI;
- Cerebral Vascular Disease;
- Risk of hypotension & or syncope;
- Intoxication (drug effects inhanced);
- Erectile dysfunction medication in the previous 4 days

Valsalva maneuver Indications - Answer - Haemodynamically stable SVT
Valsalva maneuver Contraindications - Answer - Requirement for immediate
cardioversion
- Hypotension (SBP <90 mmHg)
- Atrial fibrillation/flutter
- Aortic stenosis
- Recent MI (within 3 months)
- Glaucoma
- Retinopathy
- 3rd trimester of pregnancy
Aspirin Dosage/s - Answer PO: 300mg. Chewed and followed by small sip of water.

- Sustained conscious VT (haemodynamically stable)

- Tricyclic antidepressant overdose
Amiodarone Dosage/s - Answer IV (for cardiac arrest): 300mg. Slow push over 1-2
minutes. Repeated once at 150mg of refractory to 5 DCCS.
Total maximum dose 450mg.
